Gangasagar Unnyani Samiti is a grassroots organization committed to creating inclusive growth and meaningful opportunities for underserved communities.
Our work focuses on addressing the challenges faced by rural, coastal and semi-urban communities through programs in education, healthcare, skill development, women empowerment, environmental sustainability, animal welfare and community relief.
Our approach is community-driven and participatory. We work alongside local communities, volunteers and partners to understand real needs and develop initiatives that create meaningful and sustainable change.
Our Story
A Dream That Began With a Simple Belief
Gangasagar Unnyani Samiti began with a humble dream — that every underprivileged individual should have access to dignity, healthcare, education and opportunity.
Over time, that vision has grown into grassroots work across communities in South 24 Parganas.
From supporting children with education and learning opportunities to organizing health camps, empowering women through skills and livelihoods, supporting vulnerable families and promoting environmental awareness, our work has continued to grow with the needs of the communities we serve.
